A sunken driveway, patio, or walkway is a trip hazard and an eyesore. We lift and level concrete in a day, for far less than replacing it. Free inspections.
Call (256) 342-9622Exterior concrete, driveways, patios, sidewalks, garage floors, and pool decks, sinks for the same reason foundations do: the red clay under it shrinks in drought or washes out from poor drainage, and the slab loses support and drops. You see it as a tripping lip at a joint, a slab that pitches toward the house, or a hollow sound when you tap it. Replacing it is expensive and slow. Lifting it back into place is usually cheaper and done in a day.
We level concrete by filling the void underneath and raising the slab back to grade, then we look at the drainage that caused it so it does not come back.
In most cases lifting and stabilizing concrete costs a fraction of tear-out and replacement, and you can use it the same day. A free inspection tells you if your slab is a candidate. For a settling house slab (structural, not just exterior concrete), see our slab and concrete foundation repair page, and our cost guide for ranges.
Free inspection and a straight answer on lifting versus replacing.
